Bites, bubbles and bargains in Paris

Paris, is a magical place. Everywhere you turn, there's something incredible to look at: the Louvre, the fashions, all that gorgeous Haussmannian architecture. And let's not forget the Eiffel Tower - especially when it sparkles! On this weeklong trip, you'll have plenty of time to explore the culture and beauty of Paris but you'll also get to deep dive into some of the best things about the City of Light: its food, its markets and its Champagne.

This trip includes five convivial group activities and the option of joining our host on other excursions around town, which is perfect in case there's something you dream of doing in Paris but that isn't covered in the itinerary. This trip is as suited to first-time visitors as it is to the Paris habitué(e).

Highlights:​

• A market-to-table cooking class and lunch with a fabulous Parisienne in her beautiful apartment. We'll visit one of the best food markets in Paris and will then whip up a delicious three-course meal, just like that!

• A Champagne masterclass with a wine professional who exclusively uses champagnes made by women. You'll learn everything you wanted to know about Champagne, taste 4-5 different Champagnes and enjoy a generous selection of French delicacies

• Visits to a small flea market and brocante (French secondhand market)

• A bike ride to discover the back streets and charming neighbourhoods of Paris

• A musical boat tour along the Seine

• Plenty of free time to explore the city

Sample day:​

• Breakfast at our hotel

• 9am: depart for our visit to a wonderful little Parisian flea market

• 1pm: lunch at a local bistro followed by the rest of the day to spend as you desire

• 3pm: afternoon to explore Paris on your own or option to visit a museum or some designer secondhand shops

• 6pm: option to meet for aperitif

• 8pm: dinner at a chic restaurant

• Single (not shared) accommodation in a delightful four-star boutique hotel in chic Saint-Germain-des-Près
