Women about Paris
Bold. Passionate. Inspiring. Three words to describe the women of Paris - and the inspiration for this six-day small group tour of the City of Lights. This tour will reveal a side of Paris you may not have seen before: the Paris of Josephine Baker, Marie Curie and many more of the incredible women who have made a mark on the city. The Paris of our school history books is so heavily dominated by men and the women who appear are often wives or mistresses. During this trip, we will hear of fascinating women who lived in Paris. What was it like for them? What was their impact? What is it like to be a woman about Paris today?
On each day of this trip, we will enjoy a group activity - a tour around our theme of women about Paris or a workshop to satisfy some curiosities. You will have the remainder of the day to do as you wish, but will have the option of joining our host on other excursions around town. This trip is is as suited to first-time visitors as it is to the Paris habituée.
