Embark on an unforgettable eight-day journey through Japan, exploring the cultural wonders of Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. Our adventure begins in Kyoto, known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning temples. We will explore such highlights as Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of vermilion Torii gates; the Arashiyama bamboo grove, a picturesque forest of towering bamboo stalks; the charming streets of Gion, the heart of Kyoto’s traditional geisha district; and Kinkakuji, Kyoto’s famous Golden Temple. One day, we’ll make the short journey to Osaka to visit its legendary castle, lively districts. From Kyoto, we will hop on a bullet train to bustling Tokyo, where we can experience the city’s vibrant streets and iconic landmarks. There is a lot to take in and savour and we’ll do it all with the guidance of local experts.

Consider this an active tour - we’ll be exploring on foot and by using public transportation as required. Although there are group tours planned for all but our last day together, we have also factored in a little time each day for you to spend at your own leisure, to take a pause or cover ground that isn’t included in the itinerary. Our last day in Tokyo is left open for you to design your own adventure.
